DALLAS - Ernest Chance Jr., 73, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Abundant Life Family Church in Dimmitt with the Rev. Charles Ward officiating. Burial will be in Earth Memorial Cemetery in Earth by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview.
Mr. Chance was born Feb. 28, 1933, in Plano to Ernest and Willie Eva Robinson. He married Lucille Norman in 1954 in Clovis, N.M.
Survivors include five sons, Jerry Chance, Ernest Lee Chance III, Jimmy Chance, Dewayne Jennings and Roger Earl Chance; four daughters, Annette Chance Lang, Rita Faye Chance, Barbara Chance Ponder and Brenda Chance; two sisters, Menzola Ward and Ora Lee Ward; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
