Paula S. Carr, 63, of Urbana died the morning of Friday, Feb. 24, 2017 at Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana.
There will be a graveside service on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Locust Grove Cemetery (IL 130, Philo, IL 61864) at 3:00 pm.
Paula was born on Sept. 27, 1953 in Urbana; Daughter of Dorance and Minnie (Akers) Evans who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death; husband James Carr on March 24, 2009, 4 Brothers, 3 Sisters, and an infant Granddaughter.
She is survived by her son, Shawn (Diana) Liberto of LaVista, NE; daughter, Carrie (Chris) Walsh of Mahomet; sister, Velma Evans of Savoy; sister, Dorothy (Sam III) Liberto of Bellevue, NE; 1 grandson; and 5 granddaughters.
Paula will be remembered for her beautiful smile, a contagious laugh, and her love for gardening.
