He is survived by four brothers, Frank (Marge) Trainor, Emmett Trainor, Philip Trainor and Richard (Margie) Trainor, one sister, Kathleen Jonen, a sister-in-law, Joy Trainor and special friend, Dian Gleason.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Joseph, Vincent and William Trainor.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pontiac, Illinois.
He was co-owner and operator of Pontiac Livestock Auction of Pontiac for 45 years, and Trainor Sale Barn at Clinton, Illinois for many years. He continued to trade land and cattle. He attended Blackstone Grade School and Dwight High School.
Larry loved traveling, rodeos, and Irish entertainment.
