Lena Mae Cline King, 79, of Anahuac, Texas, died Sunday, July 19th in Beaumont, Texas.
She was born on June 4th, 1932 in Hankamer, Texas to Ernest and Madie Cline. Lena enjoyed hunting, fishing, sewing and cross-stitching. She made beautiful furniture and had a wonderful flower garden. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Anahuac and often went on mission trips to Mexico and even Cuba.
Lena is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by her loving husband, George King; son, Wayne King of Hankamer; sister, Peggy Davidson; brother, Floyd Cline; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling Funeral Home in Anahuac on Tuesday, July 21st from five until eight o’clock in the evening. The service of remembrance will be held at ten o’clock in the morning Wednesday, July 21st at First Baptist Church in Anahuac with burial to follow in Anahuac Cemetery.
Lena’s family has entrusted Sterling Funeral Home 1201 S Main St Anahuac, Texas 77514 with her final arrangements.
