Patsy Dahl Cranfill, 75, of Clifton passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 at Goodall-Witcher Nursing Facility. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, February, 28th at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Clayton McCord officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, Feb. 27th at Clifton Funeral Home.

Patsy was born February 19, 1942 in Clifton to Einar Alfred and Bessie Mae (Seymour) Dahl. She was baptized into the Lutheran faith March 29, 1942 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Clifton. She was confirmed April 14, 1957. She graduated from Clifton High School in 1960. After high school in 1963, she graduated from Hughes Beauty School in Longview.

After marrying L.D. Luman in 1965, she moved around Dallas and worked mostly in office work. She loved people and spent most of her time helping the elderly. She loved to make things pretty. She was an artist and served as President of the Conservatory Art Club for one year. She also had been a member of the Norwegian Society.

Patsy was blessed with two beautiful children, Angela Michelle Poindexter Stahla and Lindsie Duane Luman. They were her life.

She married Brother Joe Cranfill on November 15, 1992. She loved being a pastor’s wife, until his death on December, 6, 1995. In May of 2004, she moved back to Clifton and continued caring for and loving the elderly people.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Lindsie Luman; husbands, L.D. Luman, Gary Poindexter and Brother Joe Cranfill; sisters, Mary Dahl and Norma Miller; brother, Elvis Dahl.

Survivors include her daughter, Angela Stahla and boyfriend Brian Baumann; grandchildren, Travis Ohrtman, Katarina Davison, Zane Ohrtman; great-grandchildren, Felicity Ohrtman, Sam Davison; daughter, Nancy Cranfill; sister, Elda Eggen of Tyler; brothers, Ralph Dahl and wife Shirley, Kennard Dahl and wife Charla of Clifton and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
