John had followed the Baptist faith throughout his life. He enjoyed going to car shows, swap meets, and restoring old cars. He liked riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and his 1954 glass-top Ford. He had a delightful sense of humor and was quite a jokester. He also loved his dogs. His family was very dear to him and he especially enjoyed his grandchildren.

John was a loving father, grandfather, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
