He was born December 13, 1913 at Mansfield, Louisiana.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby West Smith of Warren; his son and daughter-in-law, Fred T. and Jerrie Smith, Jr. of Warren; one granddaughter, Mira L. Smith of Chicago; and one sister, Francis Renois of Mansfield, LA.
Mr. Smith was a member of First Baptist Church of Warren, past grandmaster of the Masons and was manager of West & Co. in Warren from 1956 until his retirement in 1973.
Graveside services are to be held Wednesday, June 28 at 2:oo p.m. at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Wayman and Father Frank Schenk officiating.
Burial will be by Frazer's Funeral Home.
