For several years Ed's whereabouts were unknown. He lived a nomadic lifestyle selling toys at flea markets. About 2014, detective work eventually located him living and receiving assistance and medical care in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Ed's extended family reached out to him then. Unfortunately, tigers don't change their stripes.
A memorial service was held in Brentwood, California on April 24. Ed's sisters Thelma and May had his ashes buried near his mother and brother Claude on June 24, 2017 in Ozark, Arkansas.
May the Lord have mercy on his soul.
