Herbert married Hattie Robinson (1882-1914) on Apr 20, 1904 and had three sons, Harry Edwin, Clarence Robinson, and Charles Wayne. After Hattie's death, he and sons eventually ended up in Miami. The 1930 census lists him as the owner of a charter boat. Apparently he gained experience as a deckhand for a number of years before buying his own boat. Son Clarence Robinson Fine Sr and grandson Clarence Robinson Fine Jr continued in the fishermen trade and were lost at sea Oct 20, 1961. There is a memorial marker for both Sr and Jr in the Union Cemetery in Cocke County, TN. Herbert's burial place is unknown but it is believed that he is buried in Miami-Dade County, FL.
