Brenda June Taylor, 67 of Afton passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. She was born September 17, 1949, a daughter of the late John Robert Patrick and Nellie Virginia Demastus Patrick.
She is survived by her husband Willie R. Taylor, Sr., her daughter Sherry Herring and husband Todd Herring of Crozet, her son Willie R. Taylor, Jr., and wife LaToya Taylor of Waynesboro, sister Patricia Ann Broyles of Hot Springs, her brother Roger Lee Patrick, Sr., of Afton and three grandchildren, Karley, Austin and Peyton Herring.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church in Lovingston with Reverend Sam Kellum officiating. Interment will follow at the Beech Grove Christian Church Cemetery.
