Note: Anna Mary Orris, Marsh Run, 1/10/22, 22 Jun 1870 (D) D standing for the Detrich Funeral home in Greencastle PA. I dont think York county correct, I believe it might be Washington County but there are MANY Marsh Run towns and Find a Grave only shows a couple, ie York. She obviously died close to Greencastle as the local funnerl home took care of her; soooo, Marsh Run Washington County sounds better.
Also interesting is that Anna is listed in the July 1870 census living in Washington County (near Waynesboro) PA. She was dead at the time of the census and they carried her under John D Byer, living in Orris household. There is no way she could be a Byer as he died in 1964.
Note: Parents: John Orris & Mrs Ann Marcia Byers married near Middleburg (now State Line PA) 7 Oct 1866(RC1222) .
