Harry H. Canfield, 79, Webster City 

Harry H. Canfield, 79, Webster City, died Sunday, June 10, 2001 at Hamilton Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Graceland Cemetery, with Rev. Bill Hem officiating. Visitation will lbe at the Foster Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday. 

Harry Henry Canfield, son of Henry and Lorraine Dayton Canfield, was born October 20, 1921 at Webster City. He received his education in the Webster City schools. On November 17, 1942, he married Lois Aletha Lee at Chillicothe, Mo. The couple resided in Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois and Iowa. He was employed in farm work and trucking. He retired in 1972. He had worked parttime at Dolliver Park and Hamilton Hospital. 

Mr. Canfield is survived by his wife, Lois, daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Gary Besaw of Webster City, Flora Canfield of Eagle Grove, son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Bernadine Canfield of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a sister, Ida Riley, Webster City, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Catherine Johnson, Grace Thurman, and Annabelle Canfield. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Webster City.
