A son of Abraham and Sarah (Shreve) Baughman.
He was first married to Sarah C. Zook who died on April 10, 1902. He was survived by four of their seven children: A. R. [Abraham], J. T. [John] and F. T. [Fred] Baughman, all of Martinsburg, and Mrs. Ray [Emma] Kagarise of Osterburg, PA. He was survived by his second wife, Myrtle (Haney) Baughman, and their eleven children:Mrs. Harvey [Grace] Glass and W. R.[William] Baughman of Martinsburg, Samuel J. of Wallace, Idaho, Clifford and Kenneth of Sproul, Mrs. Clair Smith of East Freedom, Mrs. Raymond Gorman of East Sharpsburg, Margaret Baughman of Pittsburgh, Russell, Olive and Eugene Baughman, all at home; forty-four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
