He had lived in Clarinda for 25 years. His wife preceded him in death 13 years ago, and a son 4 years ago. Two sons survive, Lawrence of Clarinda and Ernest of Springfield, Mo., as well as three sisters, Mrs Louis Bontz of San Francisco, Calif., Mrs Junnie Look of Dunlap, Ill., Mrs Annie Forney of Peoria, Ill., and one brother, Schuyler Karnaghan of Chicago, Ill.
The funeral was held at the United Presbyterian church Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev Carl Person having charge. The burial was in Clarinda cemetery. Pallbearers were Perry Douthit, Jas.
