Ruby M. Tucker of Bronston, Pulaski County, Kentucky, died at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky after an illness of eight months. She was 61 years old.
She was a 31-year employee of Palm Beach Company. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was survived by her husband, Arthur W. Tucker (married May 28, 1966 in Jamestown, Tennessee); her first husband, Rufus Orville Cox (married April 6, 1946 in Tateville, Pulaski County, Kentucky); her sons, Steven Orville Cox of Cincinnati, Ohio and Larry Wayne Cox of Bronston, Kentucky; her stepsons, Charley Ray Tucker of Memphis, Tennessee, Larry K. Tucker of Somerset, Kentucky, and J.C. Tucker of Bronston, Kentucky; her daughter, Jenny Lou Morris of Frankfurt, Germany; her brothers, Clifford Colyer of Tateville, Kentucky and Arnold Colyer of Blanchester, Ohio; her sisters, Christine Neal of Newcastle, Indiana, Louise McMullin of Tateville, Kentucky, Virginia Hobar of Mt. Orab, Ohio; her half-sister, Helen Neal of Mt. Orab, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley Colyer and Lucy Ellen (Morrow) Colyer; her brothers, Clarence Colyer, Homer Colyer, and George Colyer; her half-brothers, William Colyer, Joseph Colyer, Ansil Colyer, and Odell Colyer; and her half-sisters, Ada Cooper, Stella Nicholas, Bertha Coomer, and Effie Baker.
Funeral services were held at the Pulaski Funeral Home with Reverend Lloyd Sewell and Reverend Clyde Stunk officiating.
