UNIONTOWN, OHIO - John O. Ledgerwood, 87, formerly of Sweitzer Rd., in Uniontown, died Nov. 8, after a short illness.
He was born in Odon, Daviess Co., Ind., and lived most of his life in Akron.
He had presided the past 21 years in Uniontown.
Mr. Ledgerwood was employed with the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company 42 years, retiring in 1960, and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
Preceded in death by his wife, Hildred; he is survived by son, J. Robert, of Uniontown; grandsons, John F., of Virginia Beach, Va., David S., and Thomas E., both of Akron; and brother, Raymond E., of Mogadore.
Funeral services Wednesday, 1 1 a.m., at the Hopkins UNIONTOWN Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St., 1 block northwest of the Square at 619 and Cleveland Av., Rev. William J. Bordonaro, officiating.
Burial Mt. Peace Cemetery, Hartville.
