She was born in Harrisville, Butler County, PA on March 6 1927 to the late William Blaine Hawke and the late Dorothy Hoopes Hawke.
Margaret was a graduate of the old Princeton High School. She then worked for Bell Telephone Co. as a switchboard operator in the Ellwood City office, and later worked at the Ellwood City Hospital.
She was affiliated with Christ Presbyterian Church in Ellwood City.
She enjoyed flea markets. Margaret loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Wilson, whom she married September 22 1950. He passed away on May 1 2010.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia M. Aumiller of Ellwood City, and two sons, Raymond R. Wilson, and Paul D. (and Wendy) Wilson, all of Cranberry Twp., PA.
Three granddaughters, Connie (and Eddie) Mendoza of Los Angeles CA; Margi (and Jeff) Sekely of Pittsburgh; and Rachel (and Jesse) Mahosky of Phoenix AZ survive, as well as five great grandchildren: Cristiano and Catalina Mendoza; Hunter Sekely; and Jaxson and Ginny Mahosky.
Margaret was the last of her family, as she was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers: Jane Sleigher; Patricia Hawke; and William, Arthur, Dan, Robert, and Frank Hawke.
No public visitation is planned, and services will be private. The TURNER FUNERAL HOME, 500 Sixth Street, Ellwood City, is entrusted with the arrangements.
Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, North Sewickley.
