Graham Rites Will Be Held Wednesday
Funeral services for Edwin D. Graham, 72, retired Hill county farmer, will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at St. Paul's Lutheran church, with Rev. Harold Lachman officiating. Mr. Graham passed away at 9:45 o'clock last Friday night in a local hospital.
Mr. Graham is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna Theresa Graham, and a brother, David S. Graham, of Kansas City, Mo.
Mr. Graham came to this are in 1916 and homesteaded north of Havre. In 1933 the Grahams moved into Havre to make their home.
Born in Iowa county, Wisconsin, Jan. 16, 1874, Edwin Douglas Graham was raised in that area and as a young man assisted his father in survey work for the government and in aiding settlers. He was married in Chicago, Ill., in 1902, and later lived in Grant County, Wis., before coming to Montana.
The deceased was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Luther Laymen's league.
