Injuries sustained here last Thursday when his automobile was struck and demolished by an east bound freight train on the Big Four railroad at a crossing west of the city proved fatal to Samuel Kirby, 54, laborer. The widow and four children survive. It had been thought he would recover, but Friday his condition grew worse and he finally suffered a relapse. Internal injuries, which had not been determined are believed to have caused his death.
