She was hired as a teacher in Pioche, Nevada in 1917.
She married Bertie Elbert Wagster in 1919 in Arkansas and in 1920 they were living in Ranger, Texas, where she was a school teacher and he was a tank setter in the wood industry. By 1930 she was in Currant, Nevada, working as a school teacher, and Bertie in Kimberly, Nevada working in a copper mine. They apparently did not have children and divorced in 1935.
In 1940 she was in Caliente, Nevada and continued to be a school teacher. She moved to Arizona in 1956 from Nevada.
She was a member of Youngtown Community Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was past Nevada state president and co-founder of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, a national honorary educational society.
Fannie was the last member of her family, and was survived by nieces, nephews, and other family descendants.
