He was born on February 21, 1952, in Louisville, the son of his late father, Stoy Oller, and his mother, Mary Mudd Oller Stevenson.
He retired as a police officer from Boonville, IN Police Department, where he served for twenty-three years. He was Chief of Police for Lebanon Junction, KY in Bullitt County for three years, and worked for the Grayson County Sherriff Department for four years as a Resource Officer. He was a member of the FOP of KY/IN, and a member of the Classical Glass Corvette Club. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Kentucky Wildcats fan. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers, boating, and playing poker. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Newton Oller of Elizabethtown; two sons, Jeremy Oller and wife, Amanda, and Jarrod Oller and wife, Tera, all of Boonville, IN; daughter, Jenna Conner and husband, Darrel, of Evansville, IN; step-son, Shawn Powell and wife, Michelle of Elizabethtown; step-daughter, Christy Edwards and husband, Joel, of Leitchfield; his mother, Mary Mudd Oller Stevenson of Leitchfield; eleven grandchildren, Kayla, Alissa, Taryn, Cassie, Sarah, Tyler, Tyla, Brianna, Chase, Emma, and Kurt; and one great-grandchild, Harlan. He loved his family dearly.
Other than his father, Stoy Oller, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Oller a.k.a. Marshall Law, and nephew, Shannon Oller.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. noon Thursday, (February 16, 2017) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Joe Brooks will be officiating. Burial will be in the South Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
