P. M. Davidson Of Alexander Dies Friday

Prentice M. Davidson, Alexander resident, died at his residence at 8:30 p.m. Friday.

He was born in Tennessee July 27, 1875 [sic], the son of Charles and Esther Dalton Davidson. He married Effie Matthew on Sept. 28, 1904.

His wife survives with one daughter, Anna Marie, wife of Herbert Snodgrass of Murrayville. One son preceded him in death in World War II in a prison camp. One brother, Walter Davidson, of Glasgow, Ky., two sisters, Mrs. Marvin Sowers and Mrs. Wayne Piercy, both of Glasgow, Ky., and two grandchildren also survive.

Mr. Davidson was a farmer in the Alexander community.

The body is at the Williamson Funeral home where services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. Interment will be made in Memorial Lawn cemetery. The family will meet friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
