Mrs. Wren was born on March 7, 1912, in Birmingham, MO, and had lived in Turney for 23 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Browning Baptist Church, Turney. She was preceded in death by her husbnd, O.T. Wren, in 1997; her parents, Edward and Bessie Pearl Babcock; and two stepbrothers, Calvin and Clarence Babcock. She is survived by two sons, George Wren , Turney, MO, and Ronald L. Wren , Platte City, MO; two daughters, Delores Hartel, Liberty, MO, and Kay Wingate, Turney, MO; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
