Marilee JoAnn Lockwood, age 64 of Baxter, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2017, at Diamond Willow Assisted Living. Funeral Service for Marilee will take place at 11 AM on Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church Brainerd. Visitation will be held Monday 4-7PM at Halvorson Johnson Funeral Home, Brainerd and one hour prior to service at church. Private Family interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
Marilee was born December 28, 1952, to Hugh Kramer and Lorraine (Phillips) Maier in Brainerd. She graduated from Brainerd High school in 1970 and Brainerd Vo-Tech in 1972. She worked for the DNR for 25 years. Her number one priority was her family. She enjoyed camping and visiting the North Shore.
She is preceded in death by her parents, step-father Clarence Maier, and her sister, Donaleen Chapin.
Left to cherish her memory are, her loving husband of 44 years, Stephen; children, Caron (Jeremiah) Daniel, of Duluth, Damian (Margaret) Lockwood of Baxter; grandchildren, Ayden Daniel, Dallas Lockwood, Logan Lockwood and Cellica Lockwood; siblings Gary (Sharon) Kramer of Baxter, Nancy (Alan) Landin of Brainerd; Phillip Kramer of Lebanon, Indiana; nieces, nephews other family and friends.
