Ruby Elizabeth Branch, 93, of Morganton, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at College Pines Nursing Center, following period of declining health.
Ruby was born on May 21, 1923 in Burke County to the late Albert Branch and Junie Whisnant Branch.
She was retired from Drexel Furniture and was a longtime member of Walker Road Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward "Ed" Branch, Thomas "Tom" Branch and Albert "Jack" Branch.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Rev. Jessie Carr and Rev. Eddy Bunton officiating.
Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
