Mr. Greeson was a member of Mt. Hope United Church of Christ, and retired from Guilford County as a builder inspector.
He was preceded in death by his son Danny Wayne Greeson, Sr.; grandson Danny Wayne Greeson, Jr.; brothers Luther, Horace, Thurman, Ernest, and Raymond Greeson.
Doc is survived by his wife Ruby Welch Greeson; son Roger Jones, Sr. and wife Pamela of Whitsett; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a great family of relatives and friends.
