Mills, in Kansas City, Kan., April 18, of heart disease and pneumonia, aged 90 years. Mr. Martin died in 1889, and his widow went to live at Kansas City, Kan., with her daughter, where she since remained. Five children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Martin,l three of whom are living. they are Mrs. F. D. Mills of Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs. H. T. Smith of Atchison. Colonel John A. Martin, her son, who was governor of Kansas died in the summer of 1889, shortly after his retirement from public life. Another son, Alf. H. Martin, died a year or so after the death of Colonel Martin. A short funeral service was this morning.
