Clinton, Ky., June 20 (Special)-Millage (Ed) Harper, 74, retired farmer of the New Chapel Community, died unexpectedly at 6:15 a.m. Thursday at his home. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Methodist Church here with the Rev. A.C. Morrison and the Rev. Kenneth Houchin officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery.
Mr. Harper is survived by his widow, Mrs. Esther Harper, four sons, Waymon Harper, Dorsey, Ill.; Collins, Millage and Curtis Harper, all of Clinton; a sister, Mrs. Myrta Thompson, Campbell, Mo.; three brothers, Fred Harper, Bunker Hill, Ill.; Guy Harper, Wood River, Ill., and Buford Harper, Clinton Rt.1; a half-brother, Charley Harper, Clinton Rt. 1, and a half-sister, Mrs. Iva Prince, East St. Louis.
