Charles Albrecht was born New Year's Eve, December 31, 1882, in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio the youngest of eight children of John C. Albrecht and Caroline Fidalus Albrecht Doerr from Prussia. His heritage was German. Charles died sometime after 1942 and is not buried in an unmarked grave near his parents in Vine Street Hill Cemetery (formerly Carthage Road Cemetery started by the German Reform Church in Cincinnati). I hope one of his descendants will add his photo to this site. His World War II draft card, filled out when he was 59, shows Charles Sambs (of 4 Laurel Avenue in Hartwell, Ohio) as someone who would always know where to locate him.
