Rosemary Minter, 93, KCMO, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, February 9 at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, February 10 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8510 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO followed by burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. Rosemary was born in Kansas City on August 7, 1923, and was a lifelong area resident. She attended Guardian Angels Grade School and Loretto Academy. She was employed in the wholesale jewelry business and later worked for Dillards and Upjohn Health Care. Volunteer work was enjoyable for Rosemary. She served as a Cub Scout den mother and room mother for St. Peter's School and was Project Chairman for the Bishop Hogan High School Mothers and Fathers Club. She also did volunteer work at the Children's Center for the Visually Impaired and for Specialty Hospital of Overland Park.

Rosemary was preceded in death by: her husband of fifty-four years, Raymond Minter; parents, Margaret and Oscar Kohlbeck; stepmother, Edith Brown Kohlbeck; sister, Loretta Broyles; and stepbrother, Jack Brown. She is survived by: son, John Dennis Minter of Olathe, KS; daughter, Linda Minter of Overland Park, KS; sister, Louise Solomon of Wichita, KS; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
