After a hard-fought battle with cancer, Angela Lee Huffman, 58, died in her Kokomo home at 1:57 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2017.
Angela was born in Marion on August 4, 1958, to the late John and Viola (Fanning) Troxell. On February 14, 2006, she married Jim Huffman, and he survives. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in nursing, she worked at the VA Medical Center in Marion. Angela loved gardening and pets, and she also enjoyed traveling.
She will be missed by her loving husband of 10 years, Jim; children, Abby Church (Andy) Gilman, Indianapolis, and Benjamin (Valerie Michael) Church, Lafayette; sister, Kay Swetnam, Indianapolis; brother, Greg (Beth) Troxell, Carmel; step-children, Chad (Trista) Huffman, Fishers, and Bryan (Megan) Huffman, Pendleton; and grandchildren, Norah and Olsen Huffman.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City.
Services for Angela are at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2017, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 325 E. N. "A" St., Gas City, with Father Richard Weisenberger officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Cemetery in Upland.
