Mrs. Fleta Allen Motley, 91, went to be with her Lord at home in Farmville, VA. She was born in Sevierville, TN to the late Dallas C Allen and Esta L Allen.
She worked for many years at Farmers's Supply Company until they closed, then she was employed by Ayers Building and Supply Company until 1915.
She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Joseph Motlely and brother James Allen and his wife Hazel Allen and brother Otis Dee Allen.
She is survived by her children Beverly Motley Ayers and Terry Motley and Kathy Motley. In addition she is survived by grandchildren Scott and Amy Ayers, Amy and Britt Harris, Shane and Linda Ayers, Tina Motley and Stacy Ayers and six great-grandchildren Ashley Ayers, Tessa Ayers, Jordyn Harris, Tyler Harris and Ashton Ayers.
Funeral services were held at Shorter Funeral Home in Farmville.
Interment followed at the Worsham Baptist Church Cemetery.
