Obituary -
Gilbert M. Rill, 80, passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, in Tulsa, OK. He was born Oct. 16, 1936, in Tulsa to Noel and Velma Green Rill.

An Army veteran, he was a retired civil engineer from the Mohawk Water Treatment Plant in Tulsa.

Mr. Rill was a member of Boston Ave. United Methodist Church where he had also been employed after retirement from the treatment plant. He spent many miles on the road with his fellow gold wing motorcycle riders and enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. He was known for his sense of humor and he never met a stranger. He was married to his wife Beverly for 58 years.

Besides his parents, he was preceeded in death by 2 brothers, Clyde and Mack Rill.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jeffery D. Rill and his wife, Nancy; a daughter, Jill Gist and her husband, Adam; 2 grandsons, Graham Gist and Gentry Byard; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Family would like to give a special thank you to Clarehouse who took care of him like family in his final days and a special thanks to Cura Hospice as well.
