"Mrs. Julia Parle, 85, Seattle, Wash., died yesterday at her home in Seattle. She formerly lived in Maryville and moved to Conception with her parents in 1875.
Mrs. Parle was born Mar. 2, 1870, at Johnstown, Pa., to the late Robert and Anna Graham. She was married June 24, 1891, to Thomas J. Parle, who died in 1936. She was a member of St Patrick's Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Sister Mary Augusta, OSB, Glendora, Calif., Mrs. Irwin Windsor of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Forest Dodds of Kansas City; a son, Francis E. Parle of Excelsior Springs; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The body will arrive at the Price Funeral Home Thursday. Funeral services will be held in St Patrick's Church and burial will be in St Patrick's Cemetery." The Maryville Daily Forum, October 10, 1955
