Delmar Leroy Cook, 83, of South Webster, died Monday August 3, 1998, at home. He was born October 31, 1914, in South Webster, a son of the late George H. Cook and Lydia Magiline Riddlebarger. He was a retired clay miner at International Minerals. Surviving are his wife, Hazel Marie Robinson Cook, whom he married April 30, 1937, in Gallipolis; a son, Stanley Cook of Orient; a daughter, Norma Cole of South Webster; a brother, Adolph Cook of Sugar Grove; a sister, Leora Williams of South Webster; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by one son, Larry Harold Cook, and one sister, Mildred Cook. Services will be held at one p.m. Wednesday at South Webster Baptist Church in South Webster with Rev. Mike Bradshaw and the Rev. William Walker officiating and interment in South Webster Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
