Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with her grandson-in-law, Rocky Garza officiating.
Interment will be in the Seymour Masonic Cemetery. A Visitation will be held prior to services at 1 P.M. Saturday at Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.
Nancy was born April 29, 1928 in Seymour, Texas to Roscoe and Georgia Britton Caldwell. She attended school in Seymour, Texas, and later attended Texas Tech, interior design school in Atlanta, Georgia, and Vernon Jr. College. She married Bill Thornhill on April 27, 1947 in Olney, Texas. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2007.
She was the owner of Thornhill Interior Design in Seymour for many years. She was an accomplished artist, and her religious paintings hang in churches throughout the area.
She attended the First Presbyterian Church in Seymour. She had lived in Seymour until moving to Wichita Falls in 2010.
She is survived by two sons, Tony of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Chris and wife, Sally of Snyder, Texas; five grandchildren, Shannon Gray and husband, Wendell of Granbury, Thor Thornhill and wife, Alissa of New Braunfels, Texas, Jill Pfalser and husband, Clinton of Lindale,Texas, Jared Thornhill and wife, Lacey of Lubbock, Texas, and Sara Garza and husband, Rocky of Dallas, Texas; eight great-grandchildren, Barrett, Corinne and Luke Thornhill; Cannon, Nixon and Austen Pfalser; Charlie Thornhill and Ezra Garza; and a special friend and caregiver, Kalie Carter of
Wichita Falls, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and a great-grandson, Jaxon Pfalser.
