Re: "Grace Crampton passed away on January 5, 2010, surrounded by her family.
Grace was born Grace Anita Morgan..."
Can someone tell me if Grace was the daughter of George Henry Morgan and Ida Henrietta Murphey? George Henry Morgan, b. 6 July 1885 in Lee County, Iowa, was a son of my great-great uncle, George Henry Morgan, Sr., and Mary
Elizabeth Parman.

-------------------

Grace Morgan Crampton was my mother. Her obituary did not print all of that information out, but yes her parents were George Henry and Ida Murphey Morgan. She was 89 years old and was born on the Murphey homestead south of Eagleville. The Morgan and Murphey families were quite large and lived in the Eagleville, Cedarville area. George Henry Morgan, Jr. came across the prairie as an infant (3 weeks & 3 days) with his parents, George Henry Morgan, Sr. and Mary Parman Morgan in a Covered Wagon to California in 1885.

Grace Crampton leaves 3 daughters, Betty Leas, Carol Antognazzi, and Patti Crampton, 10 grandchildren, many great and great, great grandchildren.
