MRS WYSONG FUNERAL SET

Mrs. Irene Abernethy Wysong of 1461 Sixth Street Circle NW, Hickory, died unexpected-
ly at her home Thursday morning. Mrs. Wysong was a native of Hickory, a daughter of
the late Fred and Estelle Coleman Abernethy.

She attended Hickory City Schools, St. Mary's in Raleigh and was a graduate of Lenoir
Rhyne College. She was a member of Corinth Church, the Hickory Service League and
was a charter member of the ExLibris Book club.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at Corinth Evangelical and
Reformed (United Church of Christ) here with the Rev. Porter W. Setwell of Catawba Col-
lege, Salisbury, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

The body will remain at Shuford Funeral Home until taken to the church for services and
the family will be at the residence.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs Carl V. Cline III of China Lake, Calif., and Miss Ruth
Wysong of the home; three sons, David Wysong of Alexandria, Va., and Jack Wysong and
William Wysong, both of Hickory; one brother, Dr. G. Shuford Abernethy of Hickory; and
two grandchildren.

A brother, Fred Coleman Abernethy, peceded her in death.
