Herbert Fields Gray,88,of Tea Run Road Ewing, passed from this life Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Herbert was born in Nicholas County, on June 2, 1928 to the late Samuel Dee Gray and Jenny Irene Gray.
Herbert was a retired farmer and a member of the Hilltop Christian Church.
Herbert is survived by one son, Jeff Gray and his wife Angie of Mt. Sterling, Ky. One daughter, Tammy Gray and husband Jerry Jones of Ewing, Ky. A daughter-in-law, Elaine Gray of Ewing, Ky. Also surviving is a sister, Brenda Jones and her husband, Jimmy Jones of Ewing, Ky.
Preceding Herbert in death are his parents and wife, Anna Hunt Gray, a son Herbert Vonnie Gray, Roger Gray and Lesa Ann Gray. Siblings, Cleta "Dot" Earlywine and husband Ed Earlywine, Clinton Gray and wife Betty Gray, Wanda Jolly and husband Emery Jolly, Ricky Duane Gray.
