Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 5, 2017, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Donald James Devillier, 64, who passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph in Lafayette.

Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.

Don was employed with Pellerin Marble Granite for 11 years and was a wonderful "go-to" person. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, watching football, and spending time with his family and friends. Don will be remembered as a hardworking man with a funny sense of humor that brought joy to everyone he met in his life.

He is survived by his sons, Craig Devillier and Chris Devillier and wife Lundi, all of Breaux Bridge; his daughter, Rena Devillier Romero of Lafayette; his sisters, Andrea Devillier of Crowley, Jeanette Angelle and husband Cliff of Lafayette, and Anna Devillier of Crowley; his sister-in-law, Becky Devillier of Breaux Bridge; and his grandchildren, Tayden Devillier, Maddox Devillier, Brinxlee Devillier, Landon Devillier, Jovi Devillier, Liam Devillier, Madelyn Sophie Romero, and Cohen Romero.

He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Madeline Myers Devillier; his brother, Howard Devillier; and a granddaughter, Mya Devillier.
