Harry J. Koontz, 73, of Lexington, OH, formerly of Ursina, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital, Mansfield, OH. He was born September 4, 1943 in Somerset, a son of the late Harry C. and Madalyn (Geyer) Koontz. He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Woods); son, Harry J. Koontz, Jr. and wife, Jackie, Clinton, Mississippi; daughter, Gretchen Bobst and husband, Scott, Mansfield; sisters, Louise J. Koontz and Nancy A. Koontz both of Ursina; He was a retired maintenance foreman for Smurfit-Stone in Mansfield, having worked there for 26 years. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where a service will be held at 11 AM Saturday with Rev. Dean Hay, Jr. officiating. Interment in Addison Cemetery.
