J. P. HETRICK
Died--On the 12th inst., at his home in McPherson township, J. P. Hetrick, aged 63 years. Mr. H was a member Sincerity lodge no 458 I. O. O. F. Ripley Ills. The funeral took place at the residence of the deceased on Sunday, the 14th inst. under the auspices of the Odd Fellows of this place, 23 members taking part in the ceremonies. These services were conducted at a point 22 miles from Goodland, which fact speaks very highly for the fidelity of the lodge.
*****It is not known where this individual was buried, and there is no known tombstone. Many of the individuals buried in the smaller outlying cemeteries were moved to the Goodland cemetery in the early 1900's. This individual has been included in the Goodland cemetery for genealogical research based on the obituary.*****
