Mr. Lawrence C. Britton, age 68, passed away on Wednesday February 01, 2017 at the Jaquith Nursing Home. Visitation will be held on Friday February 03, 2017 from 12:00PM until 12:45PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 03, 2017 at 1:00PM at the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Laurel, MS. There will be no Graveside Services. Bro. Bill Hutto will officiate. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Britton had lived in Pelahatchie, MS since 2000 where he moved from Laurel, MS. He was a bird watcher and loved to grow and work with fruit trees.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Johnson Britton and Clem Britton; and his half-sister, “Betsy” Jane Britton Maroni. He is survived by two sisters, Brenda Scafidi of Pelahatchie, MS and Mary Anna Harris (Brad) of Petal, MS; one nephew, Adam McCann (April) of Brandon, MS; two nieces, Katie Ray (Anthony) of Petal, MS and Angelique Dykes (Kevin) of Madison, MS; and a host of great nephews and other family and friends.
