He was born in Wolfe City, Texas on October 8, 1894. He spent most of his life as a carpenter, was retired, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Albany and Albany Lodge #482 AF & AM.
Death came at the Shackelford County Memorial Hospital after a week's illness.
Burial was in the Albany Cemetery.
