Obituary from The Ogden Standard-Examiner (Ogden, Utah) - Monday, May 14, 1973:

SALT LAKE CITY - Mrs. Ethel Stevens Skelton Lowe, 80, of Salt Lake City, formerly of Ogden, died Friday at an Orem nursing home of natural causes.

She was born March 9, 1893 at Ephraim, the daughter of Redick and Mary Stevens.

She married Clifford Skelton in 1912 in the Manti LDS Temple. They were later divorced. She remarried to James R. Lowe in 1935. Mr. Lowe died in 1955.

She was an active member of the Ogden LDS 26th Ward for 25 years before moving to Salt Lake City and becoming a member of the 27th Ward.

Survivors are: Mrs. George E. Stoddard of New York; Mrs. Ruth M Johnson of Suisun, Calif.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be hold Tuesday at noon at the 27th Ward Chapel, 4th Avenue and P Street, Salt Lake City.

Friends may call Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the 27th Ward.

Burial will be at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
