Miss Eva Connely, daughter of Alfred Connely, died Monday morning at five o'clock, of consumption, after an illness of several months. Her mother preceded her some 14 months. Her remains were brought to the M. E. church at this place. Services were conducted by Rev. Comer, of Atchison. She was buried in the cemetery beside her mother. The family have the sympathy of all in their sad bereavement.

Comer, of Atchison, and the remains were laid to rest in the Monrovia cemetery. There is left to mourn her loss a father, two brothers and a sister. This makes the fourth death in Mr. Connely's immediate family in the past 14 months, and the sympathy of all goes out to the bereaved ones in their of sorrow.
