LaVerla Rose Perkins, age 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Emeritus Outlook Manor.
LaVerla was a native of Cameron, Mo, born on December 20, 1920, to John and Ernestine (Schmitz) Davis.
She married Joseph William Perkins on May 15, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio. He preceded her in death in 2007.
Mrs. Perkins was a long time Columbus resident who retired from Ohio Bell Telephone Co. after 39 years. She and her husband were members of Linden Church of Christ and North Park Church of Christ.
She was a deeply devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Survived by two sons.
