McCONNELL'S GROVE
McConnell's Grove, March 14.--Died--Grandma Shippy, aged 73 years, 6 months and 15 days. She was 20 years a redident of this place. She was born in Mifflin County, Pa., where she was united by marriage to Cornelius Shippy, January 6, 1831. In 1854 they emigrated to Stephenson county, where they have remained honest and upright citizens ever since. Thirteen children were born to them. Four sons, one daughter and twenty-nine grandchildren are still living. Her loss will be deeply felt.
