Born April 30, 1925 in DuBois, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Rasavage) Amilkavich.
On August 30, 1946 she married Edward Paul Finger who preceded her in death on December 24, 1995.
She was a graduate of the Butler County Memorial School of Nursing and went on to SUNY at Buffalo.
She retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Health where she had worked as a registered nurse for 31 years.
She was a member of the Pennsylvania Nurses Association and had been certified by the American Nurses Association in Community Health.
She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and had served as a Parish Nurse Volunteer. Also at the church she served on the Pastoral Council and was a CCD Teacher. She had also been a Eucharistic Minister at the church as well as at the DuBois Regional Medical Center. In addition, she was a member of DRMC Auxiliary; Christ the King Manor Auxiliary and was both a Red Cross and RSVP Volunteer.
She is survived by two sons: Richard and Ronald Forbes both of Scottsdale, AZ; three grandchildren: Derek Forbes, Mackenzie Wilber and Dana Kennedy; three great grandchildren: Spencer and Logan Kennedy and Reece Catherine Wilbur; and one sister Delores Landis of Williamsville, NY.
In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by two brothers: John and Leo Amilkavich.
