Funeral:Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel, with Billy Compton officiating.
Interment:Burial in the Miles Cemetery on Hurricaine.

Zora Damron Compton, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 at her residence.
She was born in Yeager,in Pike County, KY the daughter of the late Rebecca Adkins Damron and Richard Damron.
She had been an owner and operator of an upholstery business and a member of the Pikeville Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rebecca Adkins Damron and Richard Damron and her husband Melvin Compton who passed away December 27, 2003 and two sisters, Evelyn Damron and Eura Anderson, seven brothers, Whetsel Damron, Russell Damron, Winright Damron, Isaac Damron, Willy Damron, John Damron and Bobby Damron.
She is survived by one son, Melvin Compton, Jr. and his wife Betty of Kimper, Ky., and five daughters Lillie Mae Bunch, Pauline Laura Adkins, Jo Evelyn Miles, Gloria Keathley and her husband James, Donna Michelle Hamilton Justice and her husband James Walter Justice all of Pikeville, Kentucky.
She also leaves behind one brother, Clifford Damron of TN and two sisters, Josephine Stewart of Virgie and Bertha Newsome of Jonancy, KY., 25 grandchildren and 55 great Grandchilden and several Great-Great Grandchildren.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Walter Justice, Bobby Tucker, Donald Miles, Brandon Ratliff, Dennis Adkins, Brian Ratliff, Tony Bunch, J.D. Tackett, Jody Maynard, Ricky Bunch, Clancy Adkins, Randall Compton, Dempsy Miles Jr., Dempsy Milton Miles, Donnie Adkins, Ronnie Adkins and C.C. Howard.
